2015 Kemorene Sonoma County ChardonnayKemorene Wines

100% Chardonnay Clones 17 and 95
ABV – 14.2%
AVA – Sonoma County

Kemorene has dedicated this wine to the feminine spirit.

The wine is made with some of the best Chardonnay plots on the western edge of Sonoma Mountain. The site is located on a depression where the cool ocean breeze and fog are trapped.  This creates a perfect environment for longer hang time, allowing for full flavor without compromising on the acidity.

The wine opened up with beautiful aromas of apples, asian pear, Meyer lemons, vanilla and baking spice.  The palate expanded to bright flavors of stone fruit, pineapple and citrus. The mid palate had a wonderful creaminess and velvety mouthfeel with an extraordinary long finish.

The acidity and brightness of the wine will allow it to pair with a wide range of cuisines.  The wine will pair perfectly with soft cheeses, oysters, ceviche, and poultry.

2014 Kemorene Napa Valley Cabernet SauvignonKemorene Wines

89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 3% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc
AVA – Mt. Veeder, Napa Valley
ABV -14.5%

As bold and as bright as the strongest woman you know and as subtle as the horse she rode in on.

Planted in 2002 atop the sandy hills of Mt. Veeder, the fruit is sourced from Konrad Vineyards.  This mountain vineyard has extremely low yielding vines resulting in densely concentrated wines with fine tannins.

The wine is a real beauty with aromas of black fruit, plum, olives, cocoa and vanilla.  There is a generously flavorful palate of plum, dark cherries, black currant, and chocolate.  Dark, rich and voluptuous, the palate is  balanced with a fine backbone, of a classic Mt. Veeder Cabernet. The wine is full-bodied with incredible tannins and exhibits a slight spiciness on the finish.

With its tannins and fruit profile, the wine will pair exquisitely with braised short ribs, roasted duck, herbed lamb or a grilled steak.
